Soda, the data quality company, has today announced that it has achieved the Google Cloud Ready – BigQuery designation, as well as achieving Google Cloud Ready - Cloud SQL designation. This next step in Soda’s partnership with Google Cloud empowers joint-users with secure and compliant access to data sources to be able to detect, resolve, and prevent quality issues on the data that matters most to the business.
Partnering with Google Cloud enables users to manage their end-to-end data quality lifecycle including monitoring, profiling, incident management, and issue resolution. The partnership means that organizations can reduce the risk and cost of migrating data from source to destination, and ensures that teams can discover, share and use data across domains whilst catching any bad data before it has an impact downstream.
The Google Cloud Ready – BigQuery program gives customers confidence in partner integrations into BigQuery, a serverless, cost-effective, and multi cloud data warehouse designed to help turn big data into valuable business insights. As part of this initiative, Google Cloud engineering teams will validate Soda integrations into BigQuery, running a series of data integration tests and comparing results against benchmarks. Google Cloud engineers will work closely with Soda to fill any gaps and refine documentation for joint users, empowering customers to be confident in the tools that they are using.

Soda’s Google Cloud Ready - Cloud SQL designation is part of a new initiative for Google Cloud partners who closely collaborate to add support for Cloud SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server into their solutions and tune their existing functionality for optimal outcomes. Combining these SQL solutions with Soda allows customers to unlock the power of high-quality data that they can trust within Google Cloud’s fully managed, high performance and highly scalable database service.
